I’m developing a custom web application for a startup and need a VPS with daily backups and DDoS protection. I’m looking at hostpro.com—do you think their VPS plans are a good fit for a self-coded project like this? Are there any specific features or limitations I should be aware of?

    hostpro.com caught my eye because it offers servers in the US and Europe, as well as a choice of control panels - cPanel, Plesk, DirectAdmin, etc. I also liked the fact that backups are stored for 30 days, so you can restore both individual files and the entire server. Not all hosts offer this option.

    If uptime and responsive support matter for your project, you might want to explore hostpro.com. Their technical team resolved a server configuration issue for me in under 20 minutes at 3 AM. The daily backups are a nice touch, too, letting you restore data without extra costs or hassle.
