looking for a fast VPS
Hi I am looking for a fast VPS. This upgrade has come due to one of my clients wanting a more secure solution (and willing to pay).
Realistically I'd be looking at around $50/month for the service.
I'd prefer a managed option and would rather have the service on KVM (or other virtualisation that doesn't "share" resources about).
In terms of spec, I'd like around 3-5cores and 4 or more GB of memory.
Not too bothered about SSD space (tough this would be nice) but around 100Gb of space would be preferred.
Most important would be some form of backup facility (which I would say comes with some form of managed solution).
Any help would be appreciated, preferably from someone who uses the company they recommend.
Any info on OBhost.net vps solutions? Reliable or not? Others?

So if you want an inexpensive and very functional site, Exmasters.com vps host is the way to go. I asked in the support ticket if there's any way they keep backups of our sites. They have been just as responsive on previous occasions when issues came up transferring domain names or reconfiguring software.
They are always willing to take that extra step.
Now been with GTHost.com vps hosting for almost a year, and am still very satisfied.
What I want to add is that network and server uptime is quite good. . The will always go the extra effort, been with them almost 8 months and never regretted it once.
I am happy and recommend Profvds.com vps hosting to others. So far I have been very pleased. I have not noticed any downtime or slow browsing speed. Some of my sites are Drupal, so database speed is important. Your sites and projects will be in good hands if you choose them.
